Na última temporada, duas competições foram disputadas de maneira inédita e foram conquistadas pelo Corinthians: a própria Supercopa do Brasil e a Copa Paulista.

O confronto entre Timão e Inter, que acontece nesta quarta-feira (9), decidiu o Brasileirão Feminino do ano passado. Na ocasião, os times empataram em 1 a 1 no jogo de ida, em Porto Alegre, mas o Corinthians venceu a volta, em São Paulo, por 4 a 1.

Steven Smith could not remember another occasion where he had been unsure which pitch he would be playing on for a Test match two days out from it starting.That was the situation which emerged on Tuesday in Ahmedabad with Australia leaving the ground still in the dark over which of the two surfaces would be used for the final Test. However, after the visitors had departed the picture became clearer. India’s hierarchy focused their attention on the drier, black-soil pitch, instead of the red-soil one which also appeared significantly greener – although the groundsman had told Smith both would have been significantly trimmed of grass.”[There] might have been a couple of [pitches] prepared maybe a bit longer out than two days but I can’t remember two days,” Smith said.Related

But the home side dragged it back to set up a tense finale as Wayne Parnell claimed three wickets. Haider Ali held his nerve from the final ball and rescued a tie for the Falcons finding the boundary on the leg side to claim a valuable point.The visitors won the toss and elected to field, but were put on the back foot by Michael Jones’ early attack. “I remember him posting about a new role on social media and everybody was pointing towards me and asking me, ‘are you the next captain?’. I was like, ‘maybe it meant something else for social media’. But back of the mind, it was there. He came and said, ‘I’ve decided this and this’, but definitely now that I’m here, I’m looking forward to this.”Gaikwad was first signed at base price [INR 20 lakh] prior to the 2019 season, where he didn’t get a game. In IPL 2020, Gaikwad had a tough initiation as he began with three ducks in a season where he also contracted covid.
